Introduction

Finding out that you are adopted can be one of life's major traumas; depending on many circumstances.

For me I found out that I was adopted during an argument with my so called best friend. "At least my mum and dad are my REAL mum and dad, not like you".

At eleven years old it felt like the end of the world, but given a little time, life goes on.

People decide to search for their birth parents for all sorts of reasons. For myself I wanted to know who I looked like.

Unfortunately that person is Sir Jimmy Savile?
